This puzzle has a hybrid axis system. It looks like Eitan's Edge Turning Octahedron and allows that puzzle's turn but adds the abilities of a skewb (that is skewb diamond in this case). The axis system is similar to the Helicopter Skewb although that one has fewer piece types. This puzzle shares it's axis system with the Rhomdo Transformer and Crystal Transformer.
