Rubik's Cube (Politoys)

Click a thumbnail to see its larger version and description.
The Rubik's Cube produced in hungary after the company was renamed in Politoys.

The packaging of these versions carry the name "Politoys", which is identical to Politechnika after it was renamed in January 1980.
The cubes themselves do not show the rift lines that were typical for the first batch. They look like the second batch before the producer was renamed.

Beginning with image 3 all packages differ in language and in some details.
These languages are known so far: hungarian (2 subversions), french (3 subversions), english (3 subversions), serbo-croation (1 subversion), german (3 subversions) and russian (2 subversions).
Interestingly the serbo-croation version uses english labels. Only the text is in serbo-croation.
There are unconfirmed memories (from an employee at Rubiks Studio) that packagings in polish, bulgarian and romanian were produced as well. Probably these memories refer to versions without the name Politoys.
Please note that there is another version with russian text and a politoys-label but these samples were produced in russia under license of politoys. Weight: 102 grams
