The five moveable tiles are contained within the upper cross track and lower square ring. Moving the square ring slides the appropriate row or column of tiles the same direction, thus three tiles are always in motion and the puzzle can be scrambled quite easily. The puzzle has only 60 permutations, making it nearly as easy to solve as to scramble. 12 piece and 16/17 piece versions were also made. Links
