A face-turning octahedron with circles of which some rotate with the surrounding layers. This is part of a series of five puzzles named after planets.
Although the variants are named after the planets of the solar system only five variants were made.
Venus comes with eight circles which never move. This makes this puzzle the Face-Turning Octahedron version of the circle cube.
The other variants have four circles (one per axis in a tetrahedral configuration) each of which zero up to three circles don't rotate with the surrounding layer.
There is another version named "Crazy Octahedron Plus - Standard" that comes without circles. It is a reimplementaion of Dino Octa from Katsuhiko Okamoto which has its own entry in the museum.
Edge length: 98 mm
