This puzzle is named ??????????? ???, transliterated Golovolomka Shar, which means Puzzle ball.
There are at least three 3x3x3-variants in the museum which were produced during the 1980s in the former Soviet Union. These puzzles were all produced by exchanging pieces of a standard 3x3x3 with pieces from this puzzle.
The exact year is so far unknown. Therefore is the given year an upper bound. There have been at least four differently coloured versions.
The logo is identical to the soviet 3x3x3 which was produced in PRODUCTION ASSOCIATION "HIMPRODUKT" - Aksai Rostov region.
The original price is based on the official exchange rate (0.6 roubles per dollar) although in socialist time this was completely theoretical. The price (in roubles) is printed on the package.
Image 12 shows a version with different logo.
