A 2x3x3 modified to look like a 2x2x2. It allows 90�-moves only on one of the axes, like the original puzzle it was made from.
The inventor was inspired by an incomplete predecessor: Thomas de Bruin presented the "Junior Domino" in 2007. That earlier version was incomplete because it behaved like a 2x2x2.
The new version uses an internal blocking mechanism to restrict two axes to halfturns only.
