Because some of the stickers would have been really small, Eitan designed it with depressions for tiles. Now he considers it as the biggest mistake he has made in 5 1/2 years of puzzle-making. The tile material from Cubesmith was significantly thinner than expected, so he decided to make spacers to go underneath the tiles.
Cubesmith offers tiles in 15 colours only. Therefore Eitan used 5 metallic acrylic sheets for the remaining sides.
