A puzzle with dihedral axis system and 5 possible twists.

This is one of the puzzles first shown in the famous "PYRAMINX"-catalogue published 1982 by Uwe Meffert. Uwe has claimed that this item only ever existed as a cardboard mockup. Back then it was given the name "Pyraminx Magic Triangle".
In September 2007 Lee Tutt presented the first functional sample almost at the same time when Adam Cowan made another one with a different internal mechanism.
Both samples were built from scratch. Both builders strived for the same height which is identical to the rubiks cube.
Piece type signature: PIII1mp[RX3a1/ T3]
