Shallower Madness looks exactly the same as Oskar's Deeper Madness puzzle, but is very different internally. Shallower Madness uses a shallow-cut mechanism, resulting in less internal bandaging than with the Deeper Madness puzzle with it's deeper-than-origin-cut mechanism. This allows Shallower Madness to become thoroughly scrambled, whereas the Deeper Madness puzzle cannot truly be scrambled.
