A 2x2x2 in shape of an octagonal prism.

This puzzle was meant to become a cylinder but in the last minute the inventor decided to give it the shape of an octagonal prism instead.
It is a midturn puzzle. In the solved state only one move is possible. A 45°-turn has to be done in order to set free all three axes.
