A 3x3x3 truncated on three corners and extended on four sides. The result is a half-symmetrical tetrahedron.
There are 22 different variants to truncate a cube on one or more corners. One of these variants is the Half truncated cube, one of the most popular shape variants.
In addition to these 22 variants there is another series with as many variants. These are generated by putting extensions on some or all of the faces remaining from the original cube. In case of the Half Truncated Cube the result of this procedure is the Mastermorphix.
The numbers in the puzzles name tell which corners are truncated. In case of this puzzle the original cube was truncated on four corners as shown in images 3-4. Subsequently four of the original faces receive extensions and thereby create a half-symmetrical tetrahedron. Standard stickers are used for this puzzle.
