A 2x2x2 with four extensions consisting of two cubies each.

The Pinwheel Cube is a 2x2x2 cube with four 1x2 extensions. These extensions can also be twisted freely like the pairs from a 1x2x3 or 1x2x2. Because the 2x2x2 mechanism can be freely twisted in all directions, the additonal cubies can point into all directions after mixing the puzzle.

To hold the cubies in their position so that they don't turn around freely, the additional cubies have a small magnet on their bottom and the adjacent cubies of the 2x2x2 got some screws into their bodies as magnetic counterparts.

Weight: 127 g
Size of a cubie: 19 mm
