Slice Gear Cube
Above:Solved
Click a thumbnail to see its larger version and description.
Looks like a 3x3x3 but combines at least four different concepts into one new creation.

This puzzle has four ancestors:
The appearance with the almost non-existent corners and edges was demonstrated before on the Hollow Cube.
Its mechanism utilizing conical gears was first demonstrated in the Dumbbell Cube.
One possible move (on one axis) is a slice move: Opposite layers move in the same direction. The B12C111 implements the slice cube but the creator was inspired by the younger Doctor Cube.
The other two possible moves are moves known from the Gear Cube: Opposite sides moves together but in opposite directions.
Please note that every axis allows only one type of turn.
This cube has 12288 permutations which would be twice the number of the Gear Cube if the orientation of the gear were ignored.
Edge length: 60 mm
Weight: 88 grams
