A skewb in midturn with extensions to give it the shape of the namegiving solid.
This is a pretty straight forward shape transformation of the skewb. The skewb was twisted by 60° which is an incomplete move. Afterwards extensions were made and glued onto six corners to change the appearance back into that of a convex solid. In this case it is a trigonal dipyramid.
It was directly inspired by the preceeding Triangle Skewb which can be found in the museum too.
