This is the succesor of the Master Curvy Copter. That preceeding puzzle was presented in 2010 by the same creator under the name "Master Helicopter Cube". Some critics said that puzzle was more like a "Master Curvy Copter" because of its curvy cuts. Therefore the creator decided to design this puzzle with plane cuts and renamed the preceeding puzzle. The difference between Master Helicopter Cube and Master Curvy Copter is like the difference between Helicopter Cube and Curvy Copter: The version with curved cuts has one additional type of piece, the edge pieces.
Like its predecessor the Master Helicopter allows strange jumbling.
