A Mixup Cube reduced to the slice moves.

In solved state this puzzle looks like a 3x3x3 but face turns prove to be impossible. Only the slice turns work and they share a property with the Mixup Cube: They allow 45° moves. The corners of this puzzle always stay in their positions relative to each other. The faces and edges are grouped in pairs of opposite pieces which always move together. The puzzle therefore resembles the equator but it has "only" 8 pieces per ring instead of 12.
The fifth images shows that a single pair of pieces can be oriented without changing anything else visible.
Edge length: 60 mm
Weight: 44.9 grams
