This bandaged 3x3x3 is equivalent to the Siamese 12 where two 3x3x3s share a block of size 2x2x3. This siamese variant has been known for a long time. However in 2011 the bandaged 3x3x3 went into mass production.
Like all variants which can be implemented with Siamese Cube this variant is one of the few bandaged cubes which does not behave bandaged. There is a fixed set of possible moves which do not depend on the current permutation.
It has the standard size of all Rubiks Cubes and weighs 100 grams.
