This puzzle consists of two layers mounted upon each other. Both layers have six columns with two cylinders. Each cylinder is halved.
Solvingwise the puzzle is very similar to Trick Disky although the latter uses quarters of a cylinder not halves. Magic Disc consists of two identical but separated puzzle since a piece from the inner ring can't be moved to the outer ring or vice versa.
