This is one of several 3x3x3's transformed into the shape of a tetrahedron. This one looks as if the axis system was placed arbitrarily in the solid but it was not. Two pairs of sides look identical and therefore every piece has one identically shaped partner except for two pieces which are rotational symmetric.
