This puzzle is part of series of eight variants, all named after the eight planets of the solar system. At first they look identical to the Crazy 3x3x3 aka Circle 3x3x3 but the differences become visible when the variants are mixed up: On some sides the pieces within the circles move together with the surrounding layer, on others they do not. These differences are achieved with different face pieces connected to cores identical to every varaint.
With six sides there are 2^6=64 possible configurations. Without symmetric duplicates there are only 10 variants left. One variant is the traditional 3x3x3 (ALL circles turn together with the surrounding layer) and one layer is the Circle 3x3x3. The remaining eight variants make up this series.
All eight variants come with an identical colour scheme out of solidly coloured plastic pieces (without stickers) and an uniform package. The eight variants can be distinguished from the outside by the symbol (and name) on the white center piece.
In the variant "Saturn" four circles (forming a ring) move together with the surrounding layer.
