This sticker variant took its symbols and colours from "SET - The Family Game of Visual Perception". The symbols of the original card game have four properties: symbol, colour, number and shading. The fourth property was omitted for this sticker variant.
In the solved position, every row, column, and diagonal on a face is a set, as are the three surfaces on any corner. So, in total, there are 56 sets that must be satisfied to solve the cube although 8 can't be altered.
