A 2x2x2 covered with stickers of all possible 24 single plates known from Rubiks Tangle.

Rubiks Tangle is a pattern matching puzzle released by Matchbox in the early nineties. It consists of 25 cards with an identical scheme of intermingled ropes. The way the ropes go through each tile are identical through all the 25 cards but the distribution of the 4 colours vary.

In 1993, Jacques Haubrich investigated whether the 24 different Tangle cards could form a matching solution onto a cube. This indeed appeared to be possible. Moreover, there appears to be only one solution!
Jacques explained his findings in an article of the NKC-magazine Cubism For Fun (CFF-issue 31, page 18, June 1993). As Jacques also explained, the same pattern appears on all sides of the cube of course in different colours.

The first 2x2x2 covered with customized stickers was released no later than 2002 during the DutchCubeDay.
