Quickly after its first presentation the hexagonal dipyramid became one of the most popular shapes any given hexahedral puzzle would be truncated into. This sample was made from a 2x2x2.
The sample shown here was made by Justin Epplet in 2008 but the first known sample was sold by an unknown person through Ebay in 2007.
