A formerly custom now mass produced 2x2x3 cuboid, commonly known as the "Slim Tower"
The "slim tower" puzzle is a true 2x2x3 puzzle (not just an extended 2x2x2). The mechanism is based on a 3x3x3 kernel. The puzzle shown here was created using a standard sized cubies and a keychain kernel.
Jin H Kim presented a sample in 2003 although there is evidence in the forum that it was built at least once before january 2002. This sets a limit for the year of presentation. It is unknown who built the first sample.
The first samples were made from 3x3x3's. Shown here is a mass produced version. Its production started in 2009.
Size: 38 x 38 x 57 mm
