Click a thumbnail to see its larger version and description.
A Halper-Meier-Tetrahedron without corner pieces.

This puzzle was made from a skewb by cutting and applying plastic sheets and thereby hiding one set of skewb corners.
Despite its origin and its appearance comparable to the HMT this puzzle's can be solved like a Pyraminx, which is why its mechanism is classified as such. One face of this puzzle thereby replaces one tip of the pyraminx. The Cubominx comes in mind too. The edges have a visible orientation like the pyraminx and unlike the Cubominx. The face's orientation is invisible unlike the pyraminx and the Cubominx.
The images here do not show the first sample. They steem from a sample made by Wen Hsi Kang in 2011.

Later a similar puzzle "Ivox" was presented. Please refer to the seperate entry.
It also went into mass production as "Ivy Mastermorphix".
