Like an industrial 3x3x5 is constructed by adding two new layers to a 3x3x3 this puzzle was made by adding two new layers to a 2x3x3.
The pieces have the same measurements like the pieces of an original Rubiks cube.
In 2009 Traiphum Prungtaengkit built another version from a 3x3x4.
