This puzzle would be an easy modification if made by hand. There are eight different extended cubes imaginable depending on whether the faces, edges and/or corners receive additional cubies. This is the version with extended corners. The stickers are very reflective.
This puzzle was shown in "The book of ingenious and diabolical puzzles" from 1994. Back then it was a custom puzzle.
In 2011 mass production of this puzzle started.
