A fully functional 2x4x4 Cuboid
The 2x4x4 had long been said impossible to build but with the invention of the mechanism later named Olzing, you could now create the cuboids that were denied by the laws of physics.
The first 2x4x4 was designed by Ola Jansson in may 2009 and later on built by Claus Wenicker. See the image 7.
Since its initial creation, the 2x4x4 was updated and redesigned to be better and smaller.
Images 3-6 show version 3.1 which was designed by Ola Jansson in February 2010 but not built until 2011. It is the result of many prototypes of making the original 2x4x4 smaller and better looking. This version took the olzing mechanism to a new level and pushes it so far that you don't really see it.
Images 1-2 show version 3.2 which has a minimal adjustment for more stability.
