A 2x2x3 cuboid with a split and geared middle layer.

This puzzle, designed by Oskar van Deventer, was invented by Bram Cohen. Bram's idea was to add eight gears to a 2x2x2 Rubik's Cube. When the top is turned by a quarter, the gears turn by one eight. For solving this puzzle, not only do the regular pieces have to be in the right places, but also the gears must be in both the right location and in the right orientation, making the puzzle very difficult.
In 2015 Oskar presented an improved version he called Bram's Cube Plus.
Edge length: 60 mm
