This puzzle follows directly the 4x4x4 Blade. The latter is the name of the designer's reinvention of the Trigonal Trapezohedron 4x4x4. Unlike the predecessor the designer twisted the puzzle's axis system inside the solid. This twist is not strictly remaking the Fisher method as that would mean to twist the puzzle by 45° along an axis going through two opposite faces of a cube. The designed twisted the puzzle by 60° along an axis going through two opposite corners. This method was first implemented in the Axis Cube.
