Like many puzzle form the soviet era this puzzle came in many differently coloured bodies. To make the collectors life more complicated there are versions which pieces have a single colour and version with four different colors.
There are at least two different names: 16 (Ranzhir-16) and Gamma.
The logo on the leaflets (images 15-16) identifies the factory where the puzzle was produced: Capacitor Plant, the city of Severo-Zadonsk.
The original price is based on the official exchange rate (0.6 roubles per dollar) although in socialist time this was completely theoretical.
There was also a version produced in Turnovo, Bulgaria. It uses the same logo as the soviet version, is therefore younger. See images 9-10.
