Looking at the shape and cuts alone the puzzle could be mistaken with Lolo's Octahedron. Instead it is a shape transformation of the Super Z. Therefore it combines the turns of the 2x2x2 and the skewb. In the same year a mass produced version hit the market under the name "Skewby 2x2x2 Octahedron". It is produced in black or white body.
