Rota-Rius is a 2d puzzle combining sliding and rotating movements. There is one plunger which controls all six tiles and two circles connected together with gears, which rotates 4 tiles at the same time in 180 degrees. The goal is to scramble and rearrange the puzzle by numbers, facing up.
At first the puzzle seems to solve identically to the Turnstile which implements a complete ring of pieces. The Rota-Rius has an additional challenge: The pieces can be oriented properly.
The inventor made it in 2020 but presented it 2022.
