The inventor came up with this idea when he was reverse engineering the center pieces of the MF8 Crazy Doderhombus Plus. While doing so the inventor discovered that one could arrange the pieces in the shape of a trapezoid. It remembered the inventor of Eric Vergo's Rhomdo (see the separate entry) and so he designed a trapezoidal center and a fitting center cap. So with a mass produced Crazy DodeRhombus and six pairs of trapezoidal center and cap one can build this puzzle on one's own. Some stickers (especially on the 4-fold-corners) have to be rearranged.
The new trapezoid centers are available in the two variants known from Crazy-Plus variants: When the surrounding sides are turned the pieces in the circles turn with them (variant 1) or not (variant 0).
