... aka the 3 layer Hitchhiker's Cube.
This puzzle was requested by Carl Hoff so I built it for him. I didn't built one for myself so he will have the only existing unit in the world
When I played with the puzzle it felt a lot like a pentagonal prism version of a cuboid, that's why I called it a pentoid.
The design took only 5 seconds. I opened the Hitchhiker's Cube CAD file, moved one line and that was it.
An interesting thing here is that the middle layer pieces can change orientation but it is not showing with this type of stickering. I'll leave this exploration for Carl.
The shape, size and wight are exactly the same as the 2 layer version( I was surprised it wasn't heavier)

Here is a quick solve video before I send it to Carl. This is not meant as a tutorial but as a demonstration of the pleyability of the puzzle. I got really lucky in this solve because I didn't get the problem where just two pieces are swapped like in the attached picture. When I get this case I just scramble again and hope for the best
