What a Clean build and awesome looking puzzle, I don't have any chance to use plasting sheenting for a mod. It's too hard for me to manipulate. I would be more happy if I can see the truncations for this puzzle.

After several years of modding, building and collecting I have yet to understand how to cut like this.
I would just love if you would share your technique.
do you simply sand down? Or do you use a saw? If you use a saw how to you know you are cutting straight? If you use sand paper how do you know that you sand down correctly? Do you sand to near goal and then correct?
It looks so clean, both the cuts and the final product.

This cube have 4 hexagon faces and 12 pentagon faces.
And this picture showed how he made this shape.

It is a Truncated Triakis Tetrahedron (the same solid that my Skyglobe puzzle has). |

No. I just looked at it and said "This can't be regular". And the only solid with regular pentagons and hexagons I knew is archimedean which this wasn't. => Something had to be irregular here. |

The shape is not a truncated triakis tetrahedron. For starters, that shape has 16 sides and this one has 14. The best way of describing this shape is that this is to a hexagonal prism as a dodecahedron is to a pentagonal prism. It has the same dodecahedral ring as a dodecahedron, but has a hexagonal face on top rather than a pentagon.
Actually, I think I was wrong.
